Heung-min Son is back from the Asian Cup as Tottenham look to return to winning ways against Brighton live on talkSPORT this weekend.

Spurs have struggled in their five matches without their captain, winning only one of their three Premier League games and crashing out of the FA Cup.

Son scored in his last game for the north Londoners on New Year's Eve as they beat Bournemouth 3-1 to move within three points of Liverpool at the top.

That gap has since stretched to seven as Tottenham began to falter without their skipper, with a narrow 3-2 comeback win over Brentford sandwiched between draws against Manchester United and Everton.

However, Son returned to Hotspur Way on Thursday after South Korea were knocked out of the Asian Cup this week by Jordan.

Is Son available against Brighton?

Yes, Ange Postecoglou is expected to have the South Korean superstar back in his matchday squad for the visit of the Seagulls.

Having returned to the club's training ground this week, Son will train with his teammates on Friday and, barring any injury, will be involved.

It is yet to be confirmed whether he will be fit enough to start the match, with Postecoglou likely to include him on the bench instead.

Son's return will come as a huge boost to Spurs, with the 31-year-old still the club's top goalscorer despite missing the entirety of January.
