Is ABC’s fan fave new television show High Potential getting a second season, or a larger season one episode order? There’s some new info! If you don’t know, TV shows in their first seasons often get a smaller episode count to begin and sometimes receive additional episode orders if the show is a ratings success. Keep reading to find out more… TV Line‘s Matt Webb Mitovich was asked if the show had received more episodes from ABC. He shared, “No, production on Season 1 has concluded — but please know that the ABC hit’s freshman run is in fact 13 episodes,” as opposed to a 10 episode count some shows get. No info has been revealed at this time about a potential second season. Only 1 freshman series has been renewed this year so far. High Potential follows a single mom (Kaitlin Olson) with an exceptional mind, whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective (Daniel Sunjata). The series also stars Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot and Judy Reyes as Selena. The ABC series is based on the popular French series Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI).
