Is Simone Ashley exiting Bridgerton ahead of season four?! Fans were devastated to learn that her name was not included in the cast list for the fourth season, prompting rumors that Kate Bridgerton would not appear. Her counterpart, Jonathan Bailey‘s Anthony, will return. Netflix has not confirmed if she’s returning or not. Keep reading to find out more… In June of 2024, Simone said she wanted to return, telling People, “I really hope so.” She continued, saying, “Both Johnny and I, we adore our characters, Kate and Anthony, so much and their relationship and what they mean for the show.” She said, “I think we’ll do all we can with our schedules to make it work so that we can, hopefully.” However, since saying those quotes, Simone landed two big roles: one in Brad Pitt‘s F1 movie and another in an animated holiday film. Season four has already started production, and unfortunately, there looks to be a few more major cast exits as well.
