Don’t leave this perfume on the shelf.

After years of speculation, Taylor Swift dropped a major hint about her signature scent while chatting with drag queen Xunami Muse at the 2024 VMAs.

“You smell so good, what is that?” Muse appeared to ask in a clip posted to the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” TikTok, with the pop star seemingly replying, “Thank you, it’s Tom Ford.”

While she didn’t specify an exact fragrance, fans have long theorized that she uses Tom Ford Santal Blush ($195), which popped up in the background of her 2020 “Miss Americana” Netflix documentary next to a can of L’Oréal Elnett Hairspray ($13).

While the woodsy scent is practically Swift’s flannel-clad “Folklore” era in a bottle — featuring key notes of cinnamon bark oil, ylang-ylang and Australian sandalwood — it’s possible she’s been wearing the earthy blend for many years.

David Letterman remarked in 2010 that Swift smelled like “expensive wood,” which the superstar called the “most unique compliment I’ve ever gotten.”

While we’re not entirely out of the woods when it comes to confirming most of Swift’s other go-to beauty buys, the famously tight-lipped pop star has given some precious hints about her other staples over the years.

She wore a full face of Pat McGrath Labs makeup at the 2022 VMAs, including her signature bright red lipstick shade, Elson ($39) and a cat eye (sharp enough to kill) courtesy of the beauty legend’s Perma Precision Liquid Liner ($36).

And while the days of Swift marketing her own Wonderstruck perfume and teaming with brands like Keds are long over, her looks still often include an accessible, budget-friendly touch — from her Reformation dress at the US Open to her denim shorts at the first Chiefs game of the season.
