The Innovation Support Network will focus on Nigeria’s digital economy at its fifth annual gathering, in Akwa Ibom State from October 29 to November 1.
ISN said, in a statement on Sunday, that this year’s event, themed “Scaling Together, Building a Collaborative Culture for Nigerian Innovation”, would bring together over 10,000 participants to discuss the future of the digital economy in Nigeria,
They noted that the four-day gathering would feature a range of activities, including a deal room where investors would meet with innovators and startups, skill development sessions, knowledge sharing, product exhibitions, and breakout sessions.
According to ISN, the Annual Gathering will explore the enormous potential of collaboration in driving innovation and economic growth across Nigeria’s digital economy.
The Executive Director of ISN Hubs, Oge Nnaife, expressed delight in organising this year’s Annual Gathering at a time when the country was in dire need of rapid development.
She stated, “Collaboration is the new currency in the world of business development; it does not only broaden the scope of innovation but creates a path for creative problem solving and resource mobilisation.
“Our aim for this year’s event is to extend the efforts of ISN to Akwa Ibom State while reflecting on our five-year journey and facilitating collaboration within the ecosystem.
“As we celebrate ISN’s 5th anniversary, I am proud of our progress in fostering innovation and supporting startups across Nigeria.
“ISN has grown from 75 members in 2019 to 198 in 29 states in 2024 and is still growing. We have empowered countless entrepreneurs and created a vibrant ecosystem. This milestone reflects the hard work of our members, partners, and community.”
The Chairman of the Board of Innovation Support Network, Charles Emembolu, explained, “We invite everyone to join us in celebrating this milestone as we continue to drive change across Nigeria’s digital economy.”
