Exiting UTA, Rae and her HOORAE media company will be represented by the Bryan Lourd-run uberagency in all areas, I’m told. Emmy nominated Rae will continue to also be repped by 3 Arts Entertainment, AM PR Group, and Hansen Jacobson Teller Hoberman Newman Warren Richman Rush Kaller Gellman Meigs & Fox LLP.
On the other side of the country, all tickets to the March 16 An Evening with Issa Rae will be fully refunded, the hyphenate Rae pledged on February 13.
Not that Rae will be out of sight for long.
Rae produced the upcoming HBO Documentary Seen and Heard, which is having its world premiere in the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival next month. To that end, Barbie star Rae will be speaking in Austin in A Conversation with Issa Rae on March 8.
Founded in 2020, HOORAE has seen Rae EP TV series Rap Sh!t, A Black Lady Sketch Show, and Sweet Life: Los Angeles as well as hit big screen comedy One of Them Days. With Montrel McKay running the company’s TV and Film efforts, HOORAE has a multi-year overall deal with the Warner Bros Discovery owned HBO
