After Barça’s new failure in the league, coach Xavi delivered his analysis of the match against Granada.

FC Barcelona is currently in the dark in La Liga. After two successive victories against Osasuna (1-0) and Alavés (1-3), the Catalan club fell back into its failings against Granada (3-3) this Sunday. Coach Xavi expressed his views on this new setback in the league. He particularly pointed out the defensive errors of his team during the reception of the Rojiblancos at the Camp Nou.

“We lost two points and a good opportunity to get back together (on Girona, editor’s note), he said at a press conference. Granada played a smart game, they pressed and won the duels. Congratulations to Granada and Medina for their approach. We had a lot of chances to score and if we had made it 2-0 the game would have changed. We made mistakes that we cannot afford, giving away goals in defense. It cost us dearly this season. »

After 24 days of the championship, Barça is on the last step of the podium with 15 wins, 6 draws, and 3 defeats, ten points behind the leader, Real Madrid.
