Former male housemate of the Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality TV show Leo Dasilva has slammed Christians who refer to their pastors as their daddies, Spiritual fathers.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform X, formerly Twitter, the reality star stated that people who describe their pastors as ‘Daddy’ are a red flag.
“My Daddy, ‘My Spiritual Daddy,’ ‘my father in the Lord’s to describe your pastor is a red flag.”
In another tweet, he clarified that he went to Theology school for 2 years to understand God’s word and not become a pastor.
He stated that if one claims to love God, one will try to learn about God yourself. He compared it to loving someone you don’t know.
“I went to theology school for 2 years, not because I want to become a pastor but to understand the word of God even more. If you claim to love God, you will try to learn about God yourself. It’s like saying you love someone you don’t even know. Don’t be a sheep to everything”.
