It’s carnage at Real Madrid!

Bad luck has struck Real Madrid again. Yesterday, the club from the Spanish capital had an incredibly unlucky day with the announcement of three injured players! At a time when rumors were indicating that the Casa Blanca wanted to keep several of its stars during this international break, the series of injuries that have occurred in recent hours is likely to strengthen the Merengues in their thoughts.

Yesterday, two players from the French team, Aurélien Tchouameni and Ferland Mendy, left Les Bleus. The first has a left foot injury, while the second has a right tibia injury. No length of unavailability has been officially announced, but Relevo assures that Mendy should be available for Real’s next match, on September 14 against Real Sociedad. Madrid prays that such optimism also applies to Tchouameni.

A decimated midfield

These two physical setbacks add to the problem suffered the same day by Dani Ceballos. Victim of a grade III sprain with ligament damage to his right ankle, the midfielder, who was announced as leaving in the transfer window, saw his plans fall through. He will be unavailable for around two months. The Madrid midfield is also seriously affected since it should be remembered that Eduardo Camavinga is suffering from a sprain of the internal collateral ligament in his left knee and that he too is announced out for two months.

Jude Bellingham, who suffered a lesion of the plantar muscle in his right leg, is also in the infirmary, but the Englishman is expected back on the pitch in less than a month. A real disaster if we add the serious knee injury (rupture of the cruciate ligament) of the young Joan Martinez (17 years old) during training with the first team and that of David Alaba. The Austrian defender has still not resumed training and has not played an official match since December 2023.
