With his contract set to expire next summer, Real Madrid’s Spanish international Dani Carvajal has made a plea to his management.

Real Madrid said goodbye to two of its mainstays last summer: Toni Kroos, who retired, and Nacho Fernandez, who left to join Al-Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia. Now, only Lucas Vázquez, Luka Modric and Dani Carvajal remain as veterans in the Madrid dressing room.

While the first two have seen their contracts extended by one year, in accordance with the club’s policy with players in their thirties, Carvajal’s contract ends next June, with his four-year deal signed in 2021 coming to an end.

Carvajal makes a promise

The 2024 European champion, however, did not want to leave any doubts about his future. In an interview with

Brandhe sent a clear message to the club’s management, expressing his desire to extend the adventure with the Merengue.

“If all parties agree, I want to renew and extend my career at Real Madrid. It’s what I’ve always wanted and what I want now. I wouldn’t want to play, after my time at Madrid, for any club in Europe out of respect,” Carvajal said.
