Co-founder of the company Kosmos, organizer of the “Kings World Cup”, Gerard Piqué announced the presence of Neymar for the event.

Victim of a ruptured cruciate knee ligament last October, Neymar will soon make his return to the field. The Brazilian will participate in the “Kings World Cup”, which will take place in Mexico from May 26 to June 8, announced on Instagram, Gérard Piqué, co-founder of the company Kosmos, organizer of the event.

The “Kings World Cup” is a 7-a-side football tournament that includes 32 teams – 10 from the Kings of Spain, 10 from America and 12 guests from other countries – which will each be led by a star from the world of football or social networks. Names such as futsal player Falcao and streamer Gaules are being discussed to take part in the competition.

A million dollars promised to the winner

The overall winner of the tournament will pocket the tidy sum of one million dollars and be crowned King of the Kings World Cup.

It is therefore on this occasion that we could see “Ney” again touching up a ball on a field. Indeed, the former Parisian is currently still in the convalescence phase. He continues his rehabilitation on the side of Arabia, where he is now playing, with the somewhat crazy dream of being fit for the Copa America, which will take place from June 21 to July 12.
