It might be a bit. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and some of them can take their time to heal up. The question becomes just when someone gets back in the ring from those injuries, which might be more complicated than it seems. Unfortunately that seems to be the case again, as just because an injured wrestler is talking about wrestling again, it doesn’t mean it’s happening soon.

AEW’s Rey Fenix has been out of action since October due to an undisclosed injury. Fenix has described it as the worst injury of his career and that he hoped to return to the ring “soon”. However, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Fenix is “pretty banged up” and not expected to return to the ring anytime soon. This is in spite of Fenix returning to television in recent weeks.
