Sofyan Amrabat won’t be returning to Manchester United this summer.
A permanent move was tipped in quarters this summer after Amrabat won the FA Cup during his season-long loan at United last season.
It’s no secret that Amrabat wants to leave Fiorentina and the Italian media have repeatedly said that he wants to return to Old Trafford.
Amrabat knows he won’t get a bigger move than United, but he didn’t pull up trees during his time at the club and I’m not sure that we haven’t brought him in permanently.
Sunday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (cited by Sport Witness) claims United ‘will not satisfy’ Fiorentina’s demands for Amrabat. It is believed that Serie A club want €15 million for the Morocco international.
They don’t claim that United will go back in attempting to lower Fiorentina’s demands.
Instead, it sounds like United have moved on from Amrabat.
United’s primary target in midfield is Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte.
