Ivan Toney took just 19 minutes to find the back of the net on his first match back in the Brentford side.

The striker served an eight-match ban for betting offences and was thrust straight back into the limelight by being named captain for the Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest.

While Forest fans chanted "Toney, what's the score?" after Danilo's early opener, it didn't take long for the striker to truly re-announce his arrival.

After Brentford won a free-kick, Toney stood over the ball around 20 yards from goal and managed to sneak a free-kick around the wall and into the bottom corner of Matt Turner's net.

The home supporters were jubilant as Toney celebrated with the fans, before heading to the bench to embrace Thomas Frank and his backroom team.

As he wheeled away in celebration, he gestured he would be staying at Brentford by pointing to his chest and then to the pitch.

He then held aloft a shirt that read the message: "Thank you Uncle Brian".
