Sources close to Ivanka Trump and her sister-in-law Karlie Kloss are speaking out to tell Page Six they have a “good relationship,” in a bid to tamp down fresh rumors of a rift between the sisters-in-law.
The supermodel and the Trump scion sparked rumors they are feuding after not being pictured together, or posting any photos of each other, when they both attended the lavish Indian pre-wedding celebrations for the children of two of India’s wealthiest families.
Sources tell Page Six the pair have been been “tested” during the past eight years of Donald Trump’s Republican reign, and that while they are not “best friends,” they do “get along,” and their relationship is in a good place.

But there were no photos of all the Kushners together. @karlieKloss/InstagramAnant Ambani and his bride-to-be Radhika Merchant hosted a lavish and star-studded party in Jamnagar, Gujarat, earlier this month – complete with a performance from Rhianna, who was reportedly paid $6 million to perform 19 of her hits.
Ivanka, 42, flew out to celebrate with husband Jared Kushner, 43, and daughter Arabella, 12 – while supermodel turned media investor Kloss, 31, also attended with her husband, Jared’s younger brother, financier Joshua Kushner, 38.
However, Ivanka only posted photos with Jared and Arabella, dressed in traditional Indian garb, while separately, Karlie posted dazzling images of the festivities with her husband.
The lack of photos fueled long-running hints about tensions between the two Kushner wives.
Trump gets on with her sister-in-law, sources told Page Six – although they have had periods where their relationship has been tested. ivankatrump/Instagram Kloss took the opportunity to post photos from the lavish wedding celebrations, which included a performance by Rihanna. @karlieKloss/InstagramKloss spoke openly about voting against Ivanka’s father Donald Trump in 2016 and announced in advance that she would be voting against him in 2020.
But after rumors of a fresh rift at the Indian celebrations this month, sources close to both sisters-in-law, who now live close together in Miami, Florida, told Page Six were quick to dispute the claims.
One source told us, “Ivanka and Karlie have a good relationship, they’re in the same family and they spend time at family events together, they also have an overlapping social circle in Miami.

As Trump goes for his second bid at the presidency, a second source told Page Six, “They have weathered so much and they are still spending time together at family events and social events, they continue to have a good relationship.
“Their relationship has had a pretty good test over the past eight years!”
While they may not be best friends, Kloss and Trump have a similar social circle in Miami. They’re seen with Dasha Zhukova,at the US Open in 2016. Another source said, “There were at least 100 folks from America who flew over to the wedding and everyone overlapped.
“At the end of the day, they are all family.”
Ivanka was believed to be upset when Karlie spoke out during Trump’s time in the Oval Office.
Kloss – seen in India – recently joined a conglomerate to buy W Magazine. @karlieKloss/Instagram Trump and Kushner gaze at each other in India. ivankatrump/InstagramWhen Kloss married Josh Kushner in 2018 both Jared and Ivanka, who were working in the White House, went to a small family ceremony but avoided a lavish reception in Wyoming which was full of high-profile critics of the then-president. Ivanka welcomed Kloss and called her “sister” in an Instagram post.
But Kloss said before the 2020 election that she would be voting for Joe Biden and posted photos of him online.
Then on January 7, 2020, after Trump’s supporters stormed the Capitol, she tweeted her anger, apparently at Trump himself, saying: “Inciting violence is anti-American.”
This was how Ivanka welcomed Karlie Kloss into her extended family in 2018 when she and Jared Kushner attended her family wedding to his brother Josh, but skipped a lavish reception full of critics of her father and his administration. Social media told a very different story of family disunity on January 6, 2021 after mobs of Ivanka’s father’s supporters stormed the Capitol. @Karliekloss/XWhen one commenter replied, “tell your sister and brother-in-law,” Kloss replied, “I’ve tried.”
Ivanka was a senior advisor in her father’s administration between 2017 and 2021, and also was the director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship, while her husband was also a senior aide.

In November 2022, she said in a statement, “I love my father very much. This time around, I’m choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family.
“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.”
