Ivanka Trump showed “enormous empathy” by volunteering and providing aid to those affected by the wildfires in Altadena, Calif.
President Donald Trump’s eldest daughter was seen meeting with victims at Expressions Church and the LA Dream Center in partnership with CityServe Tuesday.
“Many of the families Ivanka helped have lost everything,” CityServe co-founder and CEO Dave Donaldson said in a statement shared to the organization’s Instagram.
“Their needs are desperate. Ivanka wrapped her arms around them and listened to their stories with enormous empathy.”

In the first slide of the post, Ivanka posed in front of a plethora of donation bags and the CityServe truck.
She opted for a casual ensemble for her day of charity work by wearing a black windbreaker jacket, jeans and sneakers.

Ivanka later stepped into the kitchen and was photographed handing hot meals to victims while wearing an apron and disposable gloves.
She later was seen carrying a Planet Harvest box while helping to load a car with supplies for families.

The organization wrote that they were “honored” to have Ivanka attend the event and expressed their gratitude to her for volunteering her time.
The first daughter joins other A-listers in helping provide different forms of aid to those who either had to evacuate or lost their homes entirely in the wildfires.
That same day, Ben Affleck was seen volunteering at a homeless encampment with a group of his staffers.
