Ivory Coast and DR Congo face each other this Wednesday in the semi-finals of CAN 2024, at the Alassane Ouattara stadium in Abidjan.

Miraculous during the group stage of “its” African Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast is more alive than ever. After defeating the defending champions, Senegal, on penalties (1-1, 5-4), the Elephants reached the last four after their success acquired at the last minute against Mali (2-1).

For its part, the DRC qualified for the knockout matches after recording three draws in the group stage. The Leopards then eliminated Egypt after penalties (1-1, 8-7), before winning their first match in the tournament in the quarterfinals, against Guinea (3-1).

Ivory Coast-DRC, the probable line-ups

For this meeting, Emerse Fae will be deprived of Serge Aurier and Christian Kouamé, absent for accumulation of yellow cards, but also of Odilon Kossounou and Oumar Diakité, suspended after receiving red cards during the quarter-final.

Opposite, the DRC records the return of Gaël Kakuta, who missed the last two matches of his selection.
