Ivy Nile watched the Royal Rumble last year, as she was on the sidelines as an alternate. In 2024, she hopes that she will be able to compete in the match.
In January 2023, Ivy Nile was still in NXT, as she was paired with The Creed Brothers in Diamond Mine. The trio moved up to RAW later in the year. Heading into the Royal Rumble, Nile may have a chancer to be in the match this time.
Speaking with Tim Battle and Eli on the Battleground Podcast, Ivy Nile revealed that she was an alternate for the Royal Rumble last year. She expressed her hope that she will be able to compete in the battle royal in her second go-around.
“I was an alternate last year,” Ivy Nile said. “So I was NXT, I was brought to the Rumble to be an alternate just in case something happens. So I was there last year just watching and observing everything. This year, I haven’t been officially announced, so I don’t know for sure. But I hope to make that run.”
Ivy Nile: I Won’t Be An Easy Elimination
If Ivy Nile does compete in the Royal Rumble, she is determined to make a long run in the bout. She emphasized that she would be like a spider money in her quest to avoid getting eliminated.
“Watching the people who think I’ll be an easy elimination, like Nia Jax or some of these big girls who are in there, they’ve gonna look at me and be like, ‘She’s an easy elimination, I’ll just throw her out,” she said. “Little do they know, I’m like a spider monkey. I’m gonna hold onto the ropes or become dead weight and you can’t even pick me up. I’m either gonna be the winner, or I’m gonna be the final whatever, five, four, three, whatever, I’m not gonna be an easy elimination at all.”
