Two buzzworthy bouts have been confirmed for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
In a tweet, AEW confirmed that Jon Moxley will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Tetsuya Naito at the per-per-view. Moxley issued an open challenge at NJPW Dominion, and Naito accepted. Moxley previously beat Naito to win the title at NJPW Windy City Riot.
AEW also confirmed that Orange Cassidy will face Zack Sabre Jr. at the pay-per-view. Sabre Jr. issued the challenge in a video package on the June 8 episode of AEW Collision.
WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door as it airs on June 30.
