Jack McBrayer to Make Guest Appearance on 'Grey's Anatomy'

Jack McBrayer is heading to Grey’s Anatomy!

The 51-year-old 30 Rock alum will be making an guest appearance as a patient on the Thursday, Oct. 10 episode of ABC’s long-running medical drama.

Jack will be playing a patient who is at the hospital for a kidney transplant, as revealed in the promo trailer for the third episode of season 21.

“What are the benefits of an awake surgery?” asks Nick Marsh (Scott Speedman) as the interns appear somewhat stumped.

While laying on the operating table, Jack as Tom questions, “Is he prepared?”

Jack is best known for playing NBC page Kenneth Parcell on 30 Rock, which ran for seven seasons from 2006 to 2013. He also voiced Fix-it Felix Jr. in Disney’s Wreck-it Ralph movies.

If you missed it, two characters will be leaving Grey’s Anatomy mid-season.

New episodes of Grey’s Anatomy air on Thursday nights at 10pm ET on ABC.
