Jack Perry introduced a custom TNT Championship on the August 17 episode of AEW Collision. As it turns out, he made it himself.
In a post on Instagram, Jack Perry shared footage in which he can be seen melting the old TNT Championship and customizing the new belt.
The new title will be in the spotlight at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. There, Perry will defend the championship against Darby Allin in a Coffin Match.
Darby Allin On Jack Perry
Darby Allin previously commented on how Perry’s incident with CM Punk at AEW All In 2023 helped him. Speaking with Ringside Collectibles at San Diego Comic-Con, Allin discussed their upcoming match.
“It was made official, me and Jack Perry at All In,” Darby Allin said. “So much has happened in a year, it’s wild. It’s really interesting because I felt like last year, Jack Perry was going into All In as a heel, but I really didn’t feel like he found his niche. Unfortunately, [laughs] he did what he did, but weirdly enough, I feel like that actually made him find his niche.
“They say wrestling’s the best when you’re yourself turned up to a hundred, and he’s just a douchebag. So it’s kind of cool that he can just be his normal self.”
