Jade Thirlwall is looking back at a short-lived romance with a member of One Direction! In a new interview, the 32-year-old “It Girl” singer and Little Mix alum revealed that she was ghosted by a member of the British boy band after their paths crossed on The X Factor. Keep reading to find out more…Jade shared on The Louis Theroux Podcast that she went on one date with Harry Styles back when they were teenagers. “We went on like one date when we were 16 or something,” Jade recalled, explaining that Harry, now 30, had just been “put in the band” on the U.K. singing competition series. At that time, Jade didn’t make it past the audition round on The X Factor, but would return the following year. “It was really funny because we kept in touch and then the minute they went on live shows, he didn’t message me back,” Jade shared. “I thought, ‘That’s it now. He’s gone. He’s made it.’” A year later, Jade and Harry reunited on X Factor where Little Mix performed with One Direction. “I made it the next year, and I saw him in a room after and he was like, ‘I’m really sorry that I ignored you,’” Jade said of Harry. “He ghosted you?” host Justin Theroux asked, to which Jade responded, “Yes, but I was so young it didn’t really matter.” Even though they didn’t work out romantically back in the day, Jade went on to praise Harry. “He’s got himself to where he is because he’s very talented and he’s very lovely,” Jade said. “Very charming.” If you missed it, this actress was recently asked about her rumored romance with Harry.
