Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United is up in the air after his loan spell with Borussia Dortmund came to an end following Saturday’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.

The Mirror claims Sancho, who fell out with Erik ten Hag earlier this season, is ready to return to Old Trafford – but only if the manager is sacked this summer.

It’s an ultimatum that should encourage United to show Sancho the door. After all, I don’t think there should be a way back for any player who refuses to apologise after calling the manager a liar on social media.

After being frozen out of the United team, Sancho moved back to Dortmund on a six-month loan and the Bundesliga club are interested in a permanent deal for the English forward. Dortmund reached the Champions League final in that time, only to lose 2-0 against European champions Real Madrid.

However, Dortmund may struggle financially to get a deal over the line. Can they afford United’s asking price on top of Sancho’s salary?

The latest report suggests Sancho is reluctant to give up on his United career and would like to turn things around at Old Trafford.

All Sancho had to do was apologise… His reluctance to do so showed a lack of professionalism and maturity.

Let us know in the comments section if you would give Sancho another chance at United.
