German star Jamal Musiala has revealed his plans for the rest of his career.
His contract with Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2026 and no agreement has yet been reached on an extension. And while he struggles to reach an agreement with his managers, rumours have emerged of interest from Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Musiala in no hurry to leave Bayern
Musiala, however, continues to give priority to his training club. He does not plan to change air at all. “I am very happy at Bayern and I am fully focused on our goals,” he told Welt am Sonntag.
Musiala grew up alongside Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham. Does the England international’s trajectory inspire him?
“Playing abroad like (Jude) Bellingham? I don’t think about where I’ll be in five years. Things can always change quickly in top-flight football.”
If he joins the Merengue one day, he might have a better chance of applying for the Ballon d’Or. This year, and despite his good performances at the Euro, he is not even among the nominees for this award.
