James McAvoy didn’t make the best first impression when he met his celebrity crush Jennifer Aniston! On Wednesday night (Sept. 11), the 45-year-old Speak No Evil actor appeared on Watch What Happens Live when he revealed that he had a huge crush on the 55-year-old Friends actress when he was younger. Before truly making a name for himself in Hollywood, James met Jennifer at a party, but unfortunately their interaction was “rough.” Keep reading to find out more…“I did meet her and it wasn’t great,” James said, before quickly clarifying, “Not because she’s not great.” “I was at a party when I was really young, I was like 22 in L.A., and I met Lucy Liu,” James recalled. “And Lucy Liu was really, really nice to me and she was like, ‘Come meet my friends.’” Lucy then brought James over to group of friends, which included Jennifer. “I got parked right beside Jennifer Aniston,” James continued. “And just as [Liu] was like, ‘Hey, guys, meet my new friend James,’ instead of saying that, she got pulled aside by a guy she went to high school with. She went away and I was just left standing with all these people going, ‘Hey, what’s up, I’m new in town.’” He said he then turned to Jennifer and randomly blurted out, “So you’re Jennifer Aniston and you’re in Friends.” “It was rough,” James admitted. “But she was lovely.” Speak No Evil is out in theaters now.
