Peacock announced this morning that its psychological horror thriller Speak No Evil, starring James McAvoy, will begin streaming exclusively on the platform on December 6.

Hailing from Blumhouse and Universal Pictures, Speak No Evil is an English-language remake of Christian Tafdrup’s acclaimed 2022 Danish film of the same name. The story follows Americans Ben (Scoot McNairy) and Louise (Mackenzie Davis), who after befriending a British couple with a mute son, accept an unusual invitation to bring their daughter for a weekend at an idyllic country estate. Yet when they discover their hosts are hiding sinister motives, Ben and Louise fear their family may be pawns in a disturbing plot. Led by McAvoy as a charismatic man masking unspeakable darkness, a dream holiday warps into an unnerving nightmare.

Pic also stars Aisling Franciosi, Alix West Lefler, Dan Hough, and more. James Watkins directed from his own script, with Jason Blum and Paul Ritchie producing. Beatriz Sequeira served as executive producer.
