Earlier today Tony Khan had made the match official as “The CEO” Mercedes Moné will defend her TBS title against Kris Statlander at AEW Full Gear. Renee Paquette looks to get a word with Statlander and says she’s ready to go.

Suddenly, we hear tires screeching in the background and a shot of Statlander on the floor. We see Kamille in the driver seat of a car and Moné is furious that she missed. The CEO orders her to take her out, but Statlander’s adrenaline takes out both members of the Moné Corporation before security breaks it up.

Moné also sent a message for the women involved in the Four Way match at Friday’s NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed to determine the #1 contender for her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. Either Anna Jay, Hazuki, Koguma, or Trish Adora will have the opportunity at Moné’s title at Strong Style Evolved in December.

A grudge match of sorts looks to get settled tonight as Penelope Ford returns to in-ring after an almost 2-year absence against Jamie Hayter, who had also come back just months ago. Both point fingers at each other for each of their untimely absences, but look to prove who the better woman is tonight.

The returning Ford has not missed a beat and continues to charge at Hayter as she attempts to fight back. Ford attempts to go for a Moonsault but Hayter counters and the two go back and forth. Unfortunately for Ford, Hayter hits a quick Hayterade out of nowhere to pick up the win.

Finally, we catch a glimpse of Stardom’s Mina Shirakawa as she returns to AEW Dynamite next week!

What did you think of tonight’s AEW Dynamite? How was Ford’s in-ring return? Is everything alright within the Moné Corporation? And what’s in store for Shirakawa next week? Let us know in the comments below!
