Jamie Lynn Sigler Slams 'Beautiful & Healthy' People That Are 'Abusing' Ozempic

Jamie Lynn Sigler is slamming the Ozempic trend.

During the new episode of her MeSsy podcast, the 42-year-old actress, best known for playing Meadow Soprano on The Sopranos, explained why the type 2 diabetes drug that many now use for weight loss has “triggered” her so much.

Keep reading to find out more…“I’m annoyed at myself that I’m admitting this and I’d like to get to the bottom of why I’m a little triggered about all the Ozempic stuff,” Jamie started. “It’s upsetting me. I wish I didn’t care.”

The reason Jamie‘s so upset about people using the drug is because “it felt like we were on this road to solidifying body positivity, and every shape and size and color, and everyone’s looking the same now.”

Jamie, who also talked about having past struggles with eating disorders, said that she has friends who have been helped by using the drug, adding that she’s seen them “struggle with their weight for a very, very, very long time. I’ve seen it give them a lot and I am so happy for them.”

However, Jamie then pointed out that she believes there are people taking weight loss drugs when they don’t need it.

“I have also seen friends of mine, who were beautiful and healthy and perfect, abusing it, and it’s upsetting me,” Jamie said.

Jamie‘s podcast co-host Christina Applegate agreed, saying, “People are, you know, fading away,” before jokingly adding, “For women out there listening, the thinner your face is, the older you look, okay? Not that looking old is bad!…Aging gracefully is beautiful.”
