Janel Grant and her lawyers hope justice will be served in his case against Vince McMahon.

The lawsuit between Grant and McMahon has heated up in recent weeks. She has asked the WWE to waive their talents’ NDA’s. This is so that they can testify against Vince McMahon if this case goes to trial.

Janel Grant’s spokesperson Kendra Barkoff Lamy spoke to Scott Johnson of Going Ringside recently (H/T to Fightful for the transcription).

She was asked if former United States President Donald Trump’s relationship could affect the case if he wins the election this year. This is because McMahon and Trump are known to be close friends. Additionally, they even competed against each other at the “Battle of the Billionaires” in 2007. The McMahon family also visited Trump at the White House during his time in charge.

If he gets back into office, there is the possibility that Donald Trump could pardon McMahon for his crimes. However, this would not be ideal for Janel Grant, who is searching for justice against her former boss.

Barkoff Lamy said that she hopes the facts will be followed. Additionally, she wants justice will be given to Janel Grant when all things are said and done.

“There is no politics at play here. This is a straight case where a woman was human trafficked. That is exactly what this is. I have worked with a lot of survivors over the years. I’ve represented Harvey Weinstein actresses, I’ve represented (Jeffrey) Epstein survivors. This is sort of what I do. There are no politics at play. This is exactly what it is, which is human trafficking.”

I think that, hopefully, the facts will be followed and that the law will be followed, and that he will be held accountable.” Kendra Barkoff Lamy told Going Ringside.
