Janel Grant is set to amend her complaint against Vince McMahon and John Laurinitis. This is before she goes to court next year.
The former WWE employee filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE back in January 2004. She alleged that she was the victim of physical and emotional abuse, sexual assault, and trafficking at WWE. Additionally, Brock Lesnar was also alleged to have been involved.
It was claimed that she was under an NDA. This mean she could not speak of what happened between her and Vince McMahon. However, the former WWE Chairman failed to pay the $3 million as agreed in her non-disclosure agreement, which led her to speak the alleged truth about what happened between them.
Despite her initial claims, Janel Grant is set to amend her lawsuit. In a new court filing, reported by POST Wrestling, Janel Grant’s attorneys indicated in new court filings that Grant plans to modify her lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis.
The details of this amendment have not been made public. Additionally, her legal team are expected to file them on January 15, 2025.
In response to these allegations, WWE and Vince McMahon have filed to move the Janel Grant lawsuit to arbitration. This would mean the outcome of the case is decided without going to court and all the publicity that brings.
