Actress Janhvi Kapoor has spoken out against a tragic accident in Vadodara. A young law student, Rakshit Chaurasia, reportedly crashed his car into multiple two-wheelers, killing a woman and injuring several others.
The accident, which happened on Thursday night, is suspected to be a case of drunk driving. The victim, who was riding a scooter, lost her life, while the injured were taken to the hospital.
Janhvi expressed her anger on Instagram, and said, “This is appalling and enraging. Sick to my stomach about anyone thinking this kind of behaviour is something they can get away with. Intoxicated or not.”

Speaking to the media, Chaurasia denied being drunk. He claimed he was driving at 50 km/h when he lost control due to a pothole. He explained that his car slightly touched another vehicle, causing the airbag to open and blocking his vision, leading to the crash.
He also stated that he was not coming from a party but from a Holika Dahan celebration. He expressed remorse and said he wanted to meet the victim’s family to apologize, though he felt “sorry” was not enough for what happened.
