Jason Duggar engaged to girlfriend Maddie 3 months after announcing they are dating

Congratulations are in order for Jason Duggar, who will be the next Duggar family member to walk down the aisle.

Jason, 24, and his girlfriend Maddie, who has already changed her name on Instagram to Maddie Grace Duggar, announced their engagement via Instagram Friday.

“On 8/24, Jase asked me to marry him, and I could not be more excited!!” Maddie captioned the post, nearly one week after she accepted his proposal.

“Thank you @kaylajohnsonphoto_ for capturing this special moment so beautifully.”

Jason chimed in in the comments section, adding, “She said yes!!❤️💍”

The post revealed a photo of the couple’s romantic engagement which featured a stand of roses in the shape of a heart with the words “Will You Marry Me?” lit up in the middle.

Jason and Maddie were surrounded by candles as they embraced each other on the beach.

The engagement comes just three months after the couple debuted their relationship online by sharing a collection of pictures of them holding hands on the beach while wearing coordinating white outfits.

Maddie was also the “Counting On” alum’s date to his sister Jana’s wedding to Stephen Wissman earlier this month.

The 34-year-old tied the knot with Wissmann in front of 500 guests in Prairie Grove, Ark., at The Grand at Willow Springs on Aug. 15.

Though the couple has kept their relationship mostly under wraps, their photographer Kayla Johnson gushed about the pair’s pending nuptials, saying they have the “sweetest relationship [she’s] ever seen.”

“Jase is the most intentional, kind human and Maddie matches that energy perfectly, She truly is the most beautiful ball of light in any room. I couldn’t imagine a cuter duo, and I cannot wait to see them officially become one!!” she wrote on Instagram.

“What a joy it is to watch God do something beautiful between two people,” she closed.
