Jay Cutler arrested for DUI and gun possession in Tennessee

Jay Cutler was arrested on DUI charges on Thursday night.

Not only was the “Very Cavallari” alum taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, but he was also hit with three other charges, TMZ reported Friday.

Cutler was busted for gun possession, failure to exercise due care and violation of implied consent law.

The retired NFL player’s arrest took place in Franklin, Tenn., with the 41-year-old posing for a mugshot at Williamson County Jail.

He was reportedly released later that night after posting a $5,000 bond.

Cutler’s rep has yet to respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The former athlete was previously married to Kristin Cavallari, with the duo welcoming three children before calling it quits in 2020.

“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of,” the exes wrote in a joint Instagram statement at the time. “This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”

The former reality stars finalized their divorce in 2022, nine years after they wed.

While the pair were awarded joint custody of sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 10, and daughter Saylor, 8, at the time, Cavallari gave her podcast listeners an update on their co-parenting situation earlier this month.

“I don’t know how much time I have for dating,” she said in an episode of “Let’s Be Honest” while talking about her headline-making breakup from TikTok star Mark Estes.

“When I was dating last fall, I was still doing split custody with my ex, and I had every other week off from my kids, and that’s changed,” the “Hills” alum, 37, continued. “I don’t really have a lot of time for anything else.”

The former MTV personality went public with Estes, 25, in February.

As for Cutler, news broke in September 2023 that he was in a relationship with a woman named Samantha Robertson, but the status of their romance is unknown at this time.

He last posted an Instagram Story photo from their beach date in January.
