Jay-Z called out the Recording Academy for failing to ever award Beyoncé album of the year – despite the songstress being the artist with the most Grammy wins ever.

While accepting the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award for his work in the music industry, the “Empire State of Mind” hitmaker took a moment to blast the academy for snubbing his wife.

“I don’t want to embarrass this young lady, but she has more Grammys than everyone and never won album of the year,” he said while looking at the “Halo” singer from the stage.

“The most Grammys – never won Album of the Year. That [math] doesn’t work.”

He then went on to slam fellow musicians, admitting some of them didn’t even deserve to be nominated in certain categories.

“Some of you gonna go home tonight and feel like you’ve been robbed. Some of you may get robbed,” Jay-Z, 54, quipped.

“Some of you don’t belong in the category … when I get nervous I tell the truth.”

The Grammy winner furthered he simply wants the academy to “get it right or at least close to right.”

Beyoncé, 42, has been nominated four times for album of the year but has lost to Taylor Swift, Adele, Harry Styles and Beck. To date, she has been nominated for 88 Grammys total and has won 33 of them.

The “Crazy in Love” singer made history at the 2023 ceremony when her latest win landed her the title of the artist with the most Grammys.

The monumental win was thanks to her 2022 “Renaissance” album, which took home the award for the best dance/electronic music album.

While Queen Bey wasn’t nominated this year, she stole the show while donning a bedazzled Western look.

She sat in the front row alongside Jay-Z and their 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

The pre-teen nearly towered over her father as she joined him onstage to accept his award while Beyoncé stayed behind and watched in awe.
