Back in 2004, at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, the Apex Predator Randy Orton defeated the late Chris Benoit to win his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship. By doing so, Orton became the youngest World Heavyweight Champion.
Recently, NXT star Je’Von Evans showed interest in being the one to beat The Viper’s record.
Recently, Orton spoke to Bill Apter of Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge. During the interview, Viper shared his thoughts on his record of becoming the youngest World Heavyweight Champion at 24 years old. He mentioned that he does not see anyone beating his record.
“As far as someone becoming the youngest World Heavyweight Champion and taking that from me, I don’t see that happening, only because I think it was a very special circumstance when I became the youngest world champion. I was 24 years old, and I don’t know if there’s anyone young enough to make it to that yet, so I think I’m gonna hold that for quite some time, if not from here on out,” Randy Orton said. Upon seeing Randy Orton’s comments, NXT star Je’Von Evans took to Twitter to claim that he is open for the challenge and would love to be the one to beat Orton’s record.
