Je’Von Evans has arrived.

During the April 9 episode of WWE NXT, 19-year-old Je’Von Evans made his official NXT in-ring debut against Scrypts.

Evans initially showcased his flashy offense to start, but Scrypts took control to keep him grounded. Evans then made his comeback and sprung back into the ring with a clothesline. OTM pulled Scrypts out to save him, however Evans launched himself out of the ring to knock down all three. In the end, Evans hit his Hole in the Road finisher off the top for the pinfall victory.

Evans, formerly known as Jay Malachi, signed with WWE at the end of 2023. He made his NXT Level Up debut in February and has since competed in four televised matches against the likes of Brooks Jensen, Javier Bernal, and OTM.
