Lyon supporters had a hard time digesting the departure of Bradley Barcola to Paris Saint-Germain, in the summer of 2023. They had campaigned to see the 22-year-old winger, from the training center, play more with the first team and had witnessed its rise in power over the weeks. Since then, the French international has been constantly whistled when he returns to Groupama Stadium, in the colors of PSG or with the tunic of the France team.

An attitude that disturbs a historic personality of the Lyon club: Jean-Michel Aulas. The former Lyon president indicated, this Friday morning, South Radiobe against whistles towards Barcola, when he wears the selection jersey. “ Barcola is great. I don’t like him being whistled when he returns to Lyon with the France team. These are not in my values », blurted out the vice-president of the French Football Federation. It remains to be seen how the Rhone public will be greeted when Bradley Barcola returns to Lyon.
