Back on air to comment on the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League between Real Sociedad and PSG, Jean-Michel Larqué would not say no to another freelancer.

Jean-Michel Larqué has returned to service for a freelance period. For the first time since April 2019 and the final of the Coupe de France between Paris Saint-Germain and Stade Rennais, the former sidekick of Thierry Roland was in the comments of the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League between Real-Sociedad on RMC Sport alongside Jean Rességuié.

Happy to have put on his commentator costume again, Jean-Michel Larqué confided that he was “up for” repeating the experience soon. For the C1 quarter-final of the Parc des Princes residents? The invitation is extended.

“If I have to do it again, I’m still up for it”

“I had fun because to make a good comment you need a good teamindicated the former ASSE player at the microphone of RMC Sport. It seems that I had support in midfield. I had a very complementary midfielder with Arthur (Perrot), Jano (Rességuié) and with Nicolas (Vilas). I had a lot of fun and if I have to do it again, I’m still up for it. »

On the sidelines of PSG’s qualification, Larqué explained the reasons for his return to the air. “It’s especially a good opportunity, because the match is taking place a few kilometers from my house, he declared. A little wink, but it stops there. I really wanted to go see this meeting, there is a very strong enthusiasm in the Basque Country. I asked if I could comment and RMC kindly agreed. Even if it means going there, I might as well be useful, if my comments are indeed useful. »
