Harrison Ford stars in an inspiring new ad for Jeep that premiered as a Super Bowl Commercial! The short film, titled “Owner’s Manuel,” was directed by James Mangold, the Oscar-nominated director of A Complete Unknown. He worked with Harrison on Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The brand noted, “Life doesn’t come with an owner’s manual – you have to write your own. And no one knows this better than Harrison Ford. Since 1941, each rugged Jeep Brand vehicle has been built for those who tell their own story. Whether it’s the legendary Jeep Wrangler or the all-new, all-electric Jeep Recon, our SUV’s embody strength, spirit and above all the freedom to explore. Now, get out there and write your owner’s manual.” Harrison opened up about making the commercial. “I said ‘yes’ to doing this commercial because of the script. It’s a very straightforward communication about life, and ends with getting in a Jeep vehicle, that’s the hook,” Harrison told THR. “It didn’t require me to reintroduce myself, point to the fact that in my life I’ve been many things, and known for specific projects or roles.
