Jeff Hardy has always been one of wrestling’s most electrifying performers, but the Charismatic Enigma recently dropped a bombshell about his career.
During a TV interview in Dallas, Hardy reflected on his turbulent journey, revealing that a healthier lifestyle could have skyrocketed his success to heights even beyond John Cena’s.
“The way I was living life in my 20s and 30s… if I was living life the way I’m living life now, oh my gosh, there’s no telling,” Hardy admitted. “I would probably be bigger than John Cena—today. I was born with such a gift to be a pro wrestler. It just felt so natural, like I was totally created to do this thing.”
Hardy, who debuted in the wrestling world nearly three decades ago, has had his fair share of ups and downs. He’s now embracing a more grounded lifestyle, swapping past vices for healthier habits like regular ice baths, which he credits for keeping him physically and mentally sharp. “The cool thing about that is, I’m still here. I still have life, and I feel good,” Hardy shared.
Hardy’s resurgence hasn’t gone unnoticed. Since reuniting with his brother Matt in TNA, the two have become a dominant force, claiming the TNA World Tag Team Championship. Despite his regrets, Jeff is laser-focused on making the most of his time left in the ring. “I’ll just pretty much wrestle until I can’t wrestle anymore,” he said.
Fans have always debated where Hardy stands among wrestling’s all-time greats, but his comments about John Cena, one of WWE’s most decorated champions, have reignited discussions about what might have been.
