Jeff Hardy shares an update on his in-ring status.

On February 14, Jeff Hardy faced Sammy Guevara in a pre-taped No Disqualification for AEW Rampage. Amidst the action, however, Jeff appeared to sustain an injury of sorts, specifically when Guevara knee inadvertently collided with his face while coming down with a Shooting Star Press. His brother, Matt Hardy, later confirmed the injury to be a broken nose. On May 1, Matt also confirmed that, after consulting with multiple doctors, Jeff was once again cleared to compete.

During a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Jeff provided an updated on the circumstances surrounding his medical clearance.

“I am cleared to wrestle again with a broken nose mask,” Jeff Hardy said. “My deal with AEW is pretty close to being deleted, so to speak, so we’ll see what happens, man. I’m excited to see where I go from here.”

As Jeff alluded to, his contract with All Elite Wrestling expired last Friday. The same day, “The Charismatic Enigma” made a surprise return to TNA Wrestling during the main event of the 2024 Against All Odds event. There, Jeff, along with Joe Hendry and the Nemeth brothers (Ryan and Nic), helped Matt fend off a post-match attack from The System. Moments before that, Matt unsuccessfully challenged Moose for the TNA World Championship.

Despite his TNA return, Jeff, like his brother Matt, is reportedly still a free agent.
