Jeffrey Wright Joins 'The Last Of Us' Season 2 Cast, Reprising Role From Video Game Series

Jeffrey Wright is returning to a familiar role in a new setting!

The 58-year-old American Fiction actor is set to join the cast of The last Of Us for the popular Max show’s second season.

He’ll be playing a character that he has previously voiced in one of the video games that the TV series is based on.

According to Variety, Jeffrey is set to play Isaac in the series. It’s a role that he voiced in The Last of Us Part II, which was released in 2020.

Isaac is a “quietly powerful leader of a large militia group who sought liberty but instead has become mired in an endless war against a surprisingly resourceful enemy.”

The casting news comes a few days after we got our first look at franchise stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in character for the new season.

While it has not yet been confirmed, it is believed that the show won’t return until 2025. We’ll update you if we learn more.
