Jenna Bush Hager said her dad George W. Bush’s funny expressions during Donald J. Trump’s inauguration caused the family group chat to blow up.

On Monday, while Trump was being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, George became the star of the show when he was caught raising his eyebrows, winking and even bursting into a fit of giggles while speaking to Barack Obama.

“You all already guessed what moment has been blowing up our family group chat,” his daughter began during Tuesday’s “Today” show episode.

“Yeah, my dad went viral for these cutaway shots during yesterday’s broadcast. The internet’s obsessed with this little smile and goofy expression.”

However, the former first daughter argued that he couldn’t be held accountable for his actions because he was “seated next to a bad influence.”

“Take a look at what former President Barack Obama had to say,” she pointed out, referencing a clip where a staffer asked George if he was “going to behave” and Obama jumped in, answering “Nope!”

“I just love how when they’re together, they become unusual friends,” Jenna, 43, added.

Later in the morning, the journalist was forced to address the viral moments again while hosting “Today”‘s Fourth Hour with actress Scarlett Johansson.

She also told Scarlett Johansson that watching the inauguration is like watching “your kid’s holiday concert.” “If you’re honest — you don’t really care about the whole scene. You’re just zooming in right on your kid,” she confessed, referencing her parents. When the Marvel actress asked if the inauguration was a “family affair,” Jenna compared it to “watching your kid’s holiday concert.”

“If you’re honest — you don’t really care about the whole scene,” she confessed. “You’re just zooming in right on your kid. That’s a little bit about how we watch an inauguration in my family. I’m like, ‘What’s happening with the parents.'”

She then pointed out that her dad, who was the 43rd President of the United States, “goes viral for basically anything,” but that he “didn’t do anything” on Monday to warrant being the center of attention.

“I mean, that’s what his face looks like,” she said, referencing the many faces he pulled during the event, including an instant where he looked like he was holding back laughter while Trump spoke.

“He was actually very well-behaved,” she noted.

On Monday, George went viral on social media after many noticed his quirky expressions while standing beside Hilary Clinton and his wife, Laura Bush, who was beside Obama.

In one specific moment, he stood completely still before looking around the room and then shifting his eyes to scope out the scene.

Moments later, Obama leaned over and whispered something that sent George, 78, into hysterics.

According to a lip reader, it is believed that Obama, 63, turned to Bush and said, “How can we stop what’s happening.”

However, it’s unknown if he was talking about Trump’s second term or the actual event.

George wasn’t the only celeb who went viral during Trump’s inauguration.

Lauren Sanchez had tongues wagging for her decision to wear a lacey bustier with a white pantsuit to the inauguration while Melania Trump sent a strong message with her choice of hat for the event.
