Jennifer Garner enjoyed some alone time with her boyfriend, John Miller, amid reports her relationship with ex-husband Ben Affleck has been “tough” on him.

The “13 Going on 30” star appeared relaxed as she left a restaurant with the businessman in Malibu, Calif., on Saturday.

They were all smiles while walking to their car before Miller helped the actress inside.

Garner, 52, stunned in a gray crew neck sweater, accessorizing with a simple necklace, while Miler, 46, sported a blue flannel and white T-shirt.

The two seemingly embraced their quality time together after Miller has reportedly struggled with the mom of three acting like a “marriage counselor” and “mediator” between her ex Affleck, 52, and his estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez.

“John doesn’t like sharing Jen, and there is a divide when it comes to her and Ben,” an insider told the Daily Mail last week.

“He wishes it wasn’t like that because he understands they are a family, but it gets to him like it would anyone.”

Per the source, Miller doesn’t fear the possibility of Garner getting back together with Affleck but it’s “been tough” for him.

“John is looking forward to Ben and J.Lo’s split being done so he can start focusing on [Garner],” the insider continued.

The “Alias” star and Miller started dating in 2018, shortly after she finalized her divorce from Affleck, whom she split from in 2015 after 10 years of marriage.

Garner and the “Gone Girl” actor share kids Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

Meanwhile, Lopez, 55, filed to divorce Affleck on Aug. 20 after sources told Page Six the couple’s marriage had been over for months.

The “Gigli” co-stars tied the knot in July 2022 after reconciling their early 2000s romance a year prior.

Insiders told Page Six Lopez was “furious” and “humiliated” that their second shot at love didn’t work out, especially since she spent months attempting to salvage their relationship.

Garner, however, reportedly became an “unexpected ally” to Lopez amid her relationship woes with Affleck because they could relate to each other, per Us Weekly.

Ultimately, the “Juno” star couldn’t help save the two-time Grammy nominee and Affleck’s union.

Lopez has stayed out of the spotlight since pulling the plug on her two-year marriage with Affleck, while the father of three has kept busy with his kids.

Hours before the “On the Floor” singer’s divorce filing, Affleck arrived back in Los Angeles with Garner and his child Seraphina after dropping Violet off at Yale University for her freshman year.

On Friday, he was photographed in good spirits while grabbing ice cream with his two youngest children in LA.
