Jesse Ventura has set the record straight.

“The Body” returned to WWE in December and made an appearance at the promotion’s Saturday Night’s Main Event on Long Island in New York. Ahead of that broadcast, Ventura told The Ringer‘s Bill Simmons that he agreed to appear on future episodes of SMNE in 2025, confirming he’d be there for four per year.

“I won’t discuss finances, but it’s acceptable, and I’ll be doing four [events] a year,” Ventura told Simmons. “I’m back, and for me, it’s concluding a career that probably never should have finished. And maybe now there will be closure. Jesse can broadcast until he dies and then they can have my WWE funeral.” [laughs]

Ventura has not been featured as much in ads for the next event in San Antonio on Saturday night. This lead to speculation he might not appear. During an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, F4WOnline.com‘s Dave Meltzer said Ventura is scheduled to be on all four shows in 2025. If there was a change in his status, it would have been a recent development.

“He was told he’s on all the shows in 2025, so if he’s off it’s a detail within the last week and a half,” Meltzer said. “They didn’t push him [on WWE TV], but he was told he was on every show.”

Jesse Ventura will be in San Antonio

Ventura has now put an end to the speculation about his status, confirming he’ll be in San Antonio with a post on Twitter:

“So very excited for Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend in San Antonio,” Ventura wrote on Twitter. “The Body returns to Texas this Saturday Night!”
