Jessica Alba filed for divorce from husband Cash Warren after nearly 17 years of marriage.
Alba submitted her petition Friday via her high-powered attorney, Laura Wasser, and Warren filed documents immediately after through his lawyer, Adam Lipsic, TMZ reported.
News first broke on Jan. 8 that the longtime couple had separated.
Eight days later, Alba confirmed she and Warren were “moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other” as co-parents to their three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.

“I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
Alba went on to “request privacy at this time,” adding that the former couple’s kids remain their “highest priority.”
The “Honey” actress and the film producer met on the set of “Fantastic Four” in 2004 and tied the knot in 2008.

Their split made headlines just a week after the family of five was all smiles during a trip to Universal Studios to celebrate Hayes’ birthday.
Alba, 43, shared several snapshots, which showed her and Warren, 46, grinning with their children during the outing.
“The best day at #UniversalStudios celebrating our 7️⃣ year old, Hayes! 🎂🎊🎟️🎢🥳 Thank you for having us, @unistudios 🫶🏽,” her caption read.
The Honest Company founder also posted about her Thanksgiving vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with Warren and their children.
“Happy #Thanksgiving from me and mine to you and yours 🫶🏽🤎 Sending lots of love and light,” she captioned a photo of her family posing together at sunset.

In August 2023, the father of three admitted he and Alba had split four years into their relationship due to his jealousy.
“When we first started dating, I was really jealous of other guys and the attention she was getting from other guys. It just wasn’t making me feel good,” he said on the “Whine Down with Jana Kramer” podcast.
“We broke up. It was jealousy. I was turning into an a–hole, and so we broke up. During that time apart, I made a promise to myself to channel that [jealously] in a different way.”
