Jessica Alexander Among 10 Rounding Out Cast Of Paramount Pictures’ Horror Feature ‘Primate’

EXCLUSIVE: The Paramount Pictures horror feature Primate is rounding out its cast with 10 actors including Jessica Alexander (Amadeus), Victoria Wyant (My Fault: London), Benjamin Cheng, Gia Hunter (Sherlock and Daughter), Miguel Torres Umba (National Theatre co-production Kin), Kae Alexander (Ready Player One), Tienne Simon (Grime Kids), Charlie Mann (Lazarus), Amina Abdi and Albert Magashi (National Theatre Live: Dear England). They join the previously announced leads Troy Kotsur and Johnny Sequoyah.

Details regarding the film’s plot and character descriptions are under wraps.

Deadline revealed the project was in the works back in July from producer Walter Hamada and starring Oscar-winner Kotsur. The project falls under Hamada’s exclusive first-look deal with Paramount which began January 1, 2023. Sequoyah came aboard in August. All 10 announced today will play supporting roles.

Johannes Roberts and Ernest Riera penned the screenplay with the former also set to direct. Walter Hamada produces Primate via his 18hz production company, as part of his first look deal with the studio, alongside John Hodges and Bradley Pilz.
