WWE has made some changes to the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and Jey Uso showed off the new title on WWE RAW.
Uso defeated Bron Breakker to win the title on the September 23 episode of WWE RAW. The win marked the beginning of his first singles title reign in WWE. Uso celebrated his win on the September 30 episode of WWE RAW, and he carried an updated version of the WWE Intercontinental Championship. One main difference is that the new design has blue highlights.
In the ring, Jey Uso commented on his win and said that he would fight anyone who wanted to challenge for the title. He thanked fans for their support and noted that it had been a long road up to this point. He referenced his feud with The Bloodline before he said that his mom was his biggest fan. Uso sent her a message, saying they did it.
Bron Breakker interrupted and noted, after their match, he respected Jey Uso. He said that Uso was the better man that night. Breakker then congratulated Uso, and they shook hands.
