One of the fan favorites on Monday Night Raw is ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso. After being part of a tag team and a faction for several years, he is now running solo and in pursuit of capturing his first major singles championship.
Back at SummerSlam 2023, Jimmy Uso showed up and turned on his twin brother costing him the WWE Undisputed Championship. Since then, the Usos have been butting heads and the two also had a singles match against each other at WrestleMania 40.
Recently, Jey Uso was a guest on Busted Open Radio. During the interview, Mr. Main Event mentioned that he would prefer to continue his singles run rather than get back together with his brother, Jimmy Uso.
Jey Uso on a reunion with his brother
“I always thought I would just lean on my brother.” Jey Uso said. “Always thought we would just be the best tag team. I never had visions of splitting. I never ever thought my career would elevate, I thought Bloodline was where it was. And now, I just morphed into my own character. And like I said, it’s all working … I’m on there every week and my confidence goes up every week. I’m hitting house shows, we’re hitting all the tours. So I’m getting my reps in for sure.
“If I could be honest right now, I would like to continue on my singles path right now,” Uso said. “Me and my brother, we already the best tag team in WWE in history right now. That’s checked off.” [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
