Jill Zarin decided to match her daughter, Ally Shapiro, in a white floral dress for the latter’s engagement party in Sag Harbor on Saturday.

Shapiro, 31, had asked her TikTok followers to help her choose between a corseted white satin Cult Gaia dress that she deemed “beach-y” and a Zimmermann Natura Linen-Silk Corset Midi-Dress ($800).

“OK, Mom just gave me this. [The Cult Gaia dress] was the option until literally 10 minutes ago, but I love this silhouette,” she said while trying on the second outfit.

“Let’s see if this fits me. … It’s not, obviously, all white; it’s not as bridal. But I think it’s very Hamptons-y, florally.”

Ultimately, Shapiro — who said “yes” to Jordan Bilfeld’s proposal in Spain last month — went with option two.

Just before the video ended, Zarin reiterated that both dresses belonged to her, but that doesn’t explain why she chose to wear the matching one.

“I was checking every single minute last week, and of course all the forecasts were wrong. It went from an ugly, cloudy rainy day to the most perfect sunset.”

However, the uncertainty turned Shapiro and Bilfeld’s “beach casual engagement party” into “the most incredible backyard tented event.”

Shapiro “hard-launched” Bilfeld — the director of a media agency — on Instagram in May 2022, but it’s unclear when they began dating.

Zarin and her first husband, Steven Shapiro, conceived Ally using a sperm donor; they divorced when she was 4.

In 2000, the former Bravolebrity married Bobby Zarin, who died of cancer in 2018.
